Wow, the Mont Rebei hike looks amazing with breathtaking views. Congratulations on crossing the second bridge on your hike! I know your fear. You described it perfectly and it was how I felt when hiking with Pam on the dreaded "Devil's Elbow" trail. Those challenges are terrifying but it feels great to have accomplished it....twice!
That was one F of a hike, capital F! 😳 I have a very similar fear of heights, and I’d have to think long and hard about the necessity of challenging it and my knees on that one between the bridges and all those freaking stairs! Good on ya!!
Amazing pictures! It’s not heights for me, it’s confined spaces. And it does get easier the second time. Twenty years ago in Ireland I couldn’t get down the tunnel at Newgrange to reach the central chamber. Was back last year and it was only regular terrifying the second time. Made it down the aisle and it was fantastic to experience the “solstice” light simulation.
I’m glad you addressed how the heck you jumped out of planes because that’s all I was thinking when you said you had a fear of heights! Wowza. MY hands were sweating as I read your bridge walk description. Good for you both to do this! The boat house jump for both of you should be nothing this summer. 🤪🤣

❤️ You had Pam in stitches with the “Devils’ Elbow.” Do you want to do it a third time? 😹

Great photos. Glad to see Pam is enjoying desserts.
Thank you for letting us travel along with you. It is Breathtaking and thanks to the warning earlier in the week for us vegetarians :)
It all sounds marvelous, and I love the pictures, but I'm glad to be living this vicariously!

Sharon, we are kindred spirits! I'm so happy you got that second chance.

FC, you and I are doing the boathouse together this year. Hugs! (Amy and I are cousins and she is everyone's FC-favorite cousin ❤️🤗)
